Members of the Calgary Stampeders received their 2018 Grey Cup rings on Friday evening during a private team function in downtown Calgary.

The ring is crafted from 10-karat white and yellow gold with a total of 201 white diamonds with the Stampeders’ iconic white horse and the words “Grey Cup champions” featured on the face.

The right side of the ring displays the championship year, a Grey Cup symbolizing the team’s victory in the 106th edition of the championship game as well as seven other trophies commemorating Calgary’s previous championships in 1948, 1971, 1992, 1998, 2001, 2008 and 2014.

The left side of the player rings features the name, number set with diamonds and position.

The interior of the ring has “12 STRONG” – the team’s motto for the 2018 season – as well as the final score of the Stamps’ Grey Cup game victory over Ottawa, 27-16.
