Local Baseball and Softball Trainer Receives Support from Community

Anthony Lamberth, owner of The Mission Baseball and Softball Training, has received an outpouring of support from the community after an unfortunate accident has left him unable to work. Lamberth underwent surgery to repair his Achilles tendon four weeks ago and was using a knee scooter to get around during the healing process. He was determined to get back, and didn’t miss a single day of work following his surgery, continuing to give lessons from his knee scooter. However, while working with young athletes at his training facility, the scooter got caught in the turf causing Lamberth to flip over and split his left patella in half.

Anthony works two jobs, and will now be unable to work at either for an undetermined period of time, due to his injury. Lamberth has always been a dedicated member of the baseball and softball community, working with local teams to provide indoor practice space during inclement weather.

“Our family is praying for a speedy recovery,” said one donor on the GoFundMe page.

Moved by Lamberth’s commitment to the sport and his community, a GoFundMe page was set up to provide financial support to Lamberth and his family during this difficult time. The page has already received an overwhelming amount of support, with donations pouring in from community members, fellow trainers, coaches, and athletes alike.

The support from the community has been a beacon of hope for Lamberth and his family during a difficult time. The GoFundMe page will provide the necessary funds for Lamberth to properly recover without added financial stress. Lamberth’s dedication to his community has not gone unnoticed, and the support he has received is a testament to the impact he has made on those around him.
