The other morning in my “not so secure” parking garage my car was broken into and all my tools were stolen. I was loaded up for a project and my gear was parked with my car in our spot off the street and key fob accessible.
Sadly because I was loaded up for a project – all my tool totes, bags and parts bins were in the car and why someone picked my car this time. A little backstory: I’ve been a low voltage electrician and a telcom engineer and installer for over 20 years, some of the tools were priceless in many ways because they were passed on to me from those who mentored me in the trades. Unfortunately – all of the equipment and tools were needed for projects happening right now and this loss hits hard at just the worst time.
As I work at keeping my small business functioning throughout this pandemic and complicated times.
