In the Starkville Regional opening round of play, Central Michigan and Miami were squaring off. In the top of the fifth-inning, a Central Michigan batter was hit by a pitch.

He went down in obvious pain. Then he had the best reaction ever. He flipped over and bolted down the line to first place, while his teammates cheered him on.

Just when you thought the training staff might need to come, he jumped to his feet and roared down the first base line, as if he was trying to beat out a grounder on a bang-bang play. Awesome.
