Today’s Chiefs trade is very simple as they send Yasir Durant to the Patriots for a 7th round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Durant was not going to make the Chiefs’ 53-man roster so GM Brett Veach did great work getting a draft pick in return for Durant. Durant was a UDFA in 2020 and got some playing time for Kansas City last year, but Veach revamped the OL this offseason with new additions including Orlando Brown Jr, Joe Thuney, Kyle Long, Austin Blythe and the returns of Lucas Niang and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.
