While he was an embarrassment to football on the field Monday, his commercials stood out to me. Baker’s performance in those commercials is top notch.
They may be 30-60 second commercials but you come away feeling refreshed. Baker is not like other commercial actors. Baker is not cheesy or lame. He is not bad and does not throw interceptions mid commercial. He is good. An artist.
Any other quarterback in the league (Aaron Rodgers) and this is just another ad for home and auto insurance. There may be 20 or so better quarterbacks in the NFL than Baker Mayfield, but there certainly aren’t any better actors.
