These days, red dots are finding their ways onto pistols more and more. Our instructors all use red dots on their pistols for the advantages they provide, and we highly suggest students consider adding one to their pistol for a faster, simpler, and more intuitive aiming solution. We can still train to a handgun with only iron sights in any of our pistol classes just fine, so you’re welcome to show up without a red dot to a class at Vortex Edge if you prefer irons. Please note that in Intro to Pistol, the firearm, ammo, and any other accessories needed will be provided for the duration of the class. All pistols provided in Intro to Pistol will be outfitted with red dots.
