Three Black soccer players who missed penalty kicks for England in the European Championship have been the targets of racist commentary on social media. In a statement, the English Football Association said it was ‘appalled’ by the abuse of the three players and ‘anyone behind such disgusting behaviour’ is not welcome to follow the team.
