Small correction: The front-to-back length of the Fractal Meshify 2 is 542mm, not 474mm. The 474mm number is the height of the case. Sorry for the confusion.

The Fractal Meshify 2 Compact is a new case that’s aiming to functionally replace (or revamp and revise, at least) the Fractal Meshify C that we reviewed in around 2017. The Meshify 2 Compact borrows similar themes from the Meshify 2 non-XL and XL, but shrinks and cuts costs. This makes the Fractal Meshify 2 Compact review an amalgamation of what we’ve already learned from the previous two Meshify 2 cases and some new thermal tests. Competitors would include the Cooler Master TD500, Lian Li 215 and Lancool II Mesh, Phanteks P400A, Corsair 4000D, et al. These are some of the best PC cases out now.
