In a wild four-team trade, the Atlanta Hawks have acquired Houston Rockets big man Clint Capela, taking on Nene at this same time. The Rockets received Robert Covington in exchange. A name they’re hoping will aid their Western Conference playoff run.
The other two teams in the trade, the Nuggets and Wolves, chipped in various pieces.
Jordan Bell is also being sent to Houston as part of this trade. Many believe Bell will fill the team’s void at center. The Rockets’ now lack inside presence.
