Pomona-Pitzer placed first on the men’s side for the first time in program history with 164 points, 18 points behind North Central — the 2018, 2017 and 2016 DIII champion. Before Saturday, the Sagehens had never finished in the top five of the national meet. Stevenson’s Patrick Watson won the individual title with a 24:13.9 finish time, about six seconds in front of Carleton’s Matthew Wilkinson (24:19.6).
