Which Michigan Wolverines football games in 2021 are most important? Now, I’m sure some of you read that sentence and have the response similar to “every game is just as important as the next!” On the other hand, there are fans out there who truly believe that 1-11 is an acceptable record if the 1 win is against Ohio State. I’m not an extremist in either of those directions, and do believe there is some form of ordering in the importance of certain games on the schedule.
In determining the order in which to put these games, I considered the 2-4 performance last year, the current fan-program relationship at the University of Michigan, Jim Harbaugh’s future as the head coach of the progam, potential recruiting ramifications of a win or a loss, and where in the schedule each game landed. I think taking all of these factors into consideration paints a decent picture in answering which games are “more important” than the others.
Though, I do know this video will spark some debate. Let me know in the comments below if you agree or disagree with my ranking, and reasons that I maybe missed in my consideration.
