Free-agent NFL linebacker Vontaze Burfict was arrested early Saturday morning in Nevada on a misdemeanor battery charge. According to Clark County court records, Burfict is being held on $1,000 bond and a hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday.
Burfict is currently a free agent, and has not played in the NFL since being suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season for a hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle in Week 4 last season while playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.
