Where hockey opponents face.
To take on a savage race.
Tonight born either a win number three
Or a win that should not be.
While some tread on new found ice.
Hoping the refs will be fair and nice.
Both teams are foremost in the fight.
Guiding sticks with all their might.
Thou shall ever live in song
For at the end of this race, the Kelly Cup could belong.
No matter the outcome, it has been a great year.
Just remember, back here (in Toledo) we will be full of cheer.
