In thrilling local prep basketball, Chattanooga Christian overcame a slow start to defeat East Hamilton High School in overtime, winning by a final score of 79-69. The game turned around in the second quarter, when Chattanooga Christian went on a 17-0 run.
The team showed great resilience and determination to come from behind and secure the win. Both teams put in a strong effort, but in the end, it was Chattanooga Christian who emerged victorious. It was a great game for fans and a well-deserved win for the players and coaches of Chattanooga Christian.
Junior guard Dre Jackson scored 29 points, including eight in overtime, to lead the Chargers. The Hurricanes were led by point guard Ashton Munson, who scored 10 of his team-high 23 points in the third quarter.
