The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers Week 12 game that was moved three different times has turned heads on the numbers the game was able to draw. It was supposed to be played on Thanksgiving Night, but due to COVID-19, the game was moved three times and was eventually played on Wednesday at 3:40pm EST.
Despite the odd timing for an NFL game, the Ravens and Steelers still pulled in incredible viewership, with 11.4 million viewers tuning in. In comparison, the 2020 NBA Finals averaged nearly half of what the contest was able to draw on Wednesday afternoon.
So Ravens-Steelers on NBC on Wednesday from 3:41-6:46pm averaged 11.4 million viewers (streaming + TV). TV only = 10.8 million, marking most-watched weekday afternoon show of 2020 (excluding holidays). Helped Xmas Tree Lighting on NBC rise to 7.4 million

The NBA Finals were averaging 6.71 million viewers after three games and attracted an audience of 7.54 million for game four and 5.7 million for game five. Based on the reported figures, the average viewership across the entire series was just over 6.4 million.
