ADRIAN, Mich. | NSBNsports.com | August 14, 2026 — Adrian College received votes in the D3football.com preseason Top 25 poll ahead of the 2026 football season.
Adrian was one of four Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association programs recognized in the poll. Hope was ranked No. 19, while Alma and Calvin also received votes.
The Bulldogs finished with eight victories in 2025, their highest total since 2014. The season included a win over Division I opponent Valparaiso and a 5-2 conference record that placed Adrian third in the MIAA standings.
Adrian received votes in the D3football.com Top 25 throughout last season and climbed as high as No. 24 in the American Football Coaches Association poll.
Third-team All-American Ethan Burrows returns after recording 46 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and eight interceptions. His interception total led NCAA Division III.
Second-team All-American Joe Pruchnic anchored an offensive line that helped Adrian average 181.7 rushing yards and 280.2 passing yards per game. Pruchnic allowed only one sack across 330 passing attempts.
The Bulldogs will open the 2026 season against Ohio Northern at 1 p.m. Sept. 5 at Docking Stadium.
