Toledo loves hockey. The ECHL Toledo Walleye play in the Huntington Center, which just recorded it’s 200th sold out game. Random musing, I recently read that the Huntington Center’s nickname is: Bank Tank.
In regards to player announcements: One of Toledo’s goalie’s, Billie Christopoulos was recently named the ECHL goalie of the week as stated on echl.com. Even more recent was his first pro shutout.
