Chattanooga FC Seeks to Extend Winning Streak Against Crown Legacy FC

On Wednesday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Chattanooga FC will look to continue its three-match unbeaten streak as it travels to face Crown Legacy FC at the Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, North Carolina. This match marks the first-ever encounter between Chattanooga FC, who currently lead the MLS NEXT Pro standings with 20 points (5-1-3, 2 SOW), and Crown Legacy FC, who are placed eleventh in the Eastern conference and third in the Southeast with 11 points (2-3-3, 2 SOW).

Both teams are entering the match on a high note, having secured 2-1 victories in their last outings during Matchweek 9. Chattanooga FC defeated Inter Miami II for the second time this season, thanks to a late wonder goal by Mehdi Ouamri, while Crown Legacy FC managed to hold off New England Revolution II at home.

Crown Legacy, coached by Jose Tavares, a native of Portugal with extensive experience at FC Porto, has seen a recent upturn in their performance. The team’s fortunes began to shift with a significant victory over New York City FC II on April 28, followed by another win against New England Revolution II. Aron John has been a standout performer for Crown Legacy this season, leading the team with three goals.
