Another new style of video for the channel. We have a few cars that our audience may be interested in, so I thought I would try and document some of the stuff we get up to, trying to maintain them and tune them, and the garages we take them to. Forever, I have just dropped cars off at places, and picked them up when done, but I thought, why not take the camera, and see what I can film.
So this is my Son’s Mk5 Golf GTI, and as the video says, we just want to get it properly checked out before we spend any money modifying it.
It’s done a 106K so it just makes sense.
We took it to garage it Camberley, that I have always heard good things about, and thought we would have a look. They have a very cool little setup, and know their stuff. I always think at most garages, you know straight away if it feels good or not. (you know that feeling……’I’m not leaving my car here’)
Well ‘The Phirm’ gets the thumbs up.
We got what we wanted done, and got a list of things to be cracking on with. It may look a big list, but nothing scary…
Since this video was made we have already done the following…
New headlights fitted and adjusted.
New GFB DV+ diverter valve
New brake vacuum hose
New fuel cap seal
Brake fluid changed
Intercooler seals replaced
Necessary bushes ordered.
