The Toledo Walleye start their series towards the final championship, the Kelly Cup, this Memorial Day weekend. I want to give a sincere “THANKS” to those who gave their lives, so that we Americans can have this privilege, but so many more. I appreciate that the Walleye games take time to honor American Soldiers, as part of their game events. An Annotated Roster for the inaugural Newfoundland Growlers, reveals an impressive number of players are freshman to the ECHL.

Fifth Third Field will be hosting the largest watch party in town when the team plays in Newfoundland. You can watch the Walleye on BCSN on the new 2,500-square-foot LED video board, purchased by the organization which owns both the Walleye and Mud Hens. It’s now the largest viewing screen in Northwest Ohio. Cow bells and rally towels are encouraged by the Walleye and staff of Fifth Third Field.
