The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins. It’s a red flag for many fans, as Ben Roethisberger is nearing retirement. Mixed reactions came from all over the league and internet.
Haskins was released by Washington following a slew of conduct issues involving violating media availability rules and COVID protocols. He is a product of Ohio State University, where he threw 50 touchdowns in 2018, his lone starting season.
He won several Big Ten conference awards and was named a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Heisman Trophy. Haskins was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
