Texas Christian University Hornfrogs defensive tackle Ross Blacklock met with reporters on Thursday and told them that the Las Vegas Raiders tipped him off that he had accumulated over 30 on-campus parking tickets while at TCU. While that’s very nice of the Raiders, during an NFL Scouting Combine is not the time you’d like to learn this information.
Ross Blacklock has 21 formal interviews. Said he prepared for weird questions but when he met with Oakland, he learned something new about himself: “The Raiders told me about my 37 parking tickets that I didn’t know about.”

When the team asked him how he could possibly be unaware of the large number of tickets, he said the school withdrew the money straight from his student account. Which isn’t uncommon across the country.
The 2017 Freshman All-American missed the entire 2018 season because of an Achilles injury, but he bounced back strong in 2019. He racked up 40 total tackles and 3.5 sacks across 12 appearances as a junior before declaring for the 2020 draft.
