Tom Brady Signs Four-Year Extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Pro Football Pro Sports Sports Biz

Coming off his seventh Super Bowl win, Brady is signing a 4-year extension with the Buccaneers that locks him in Tampa through at least 2022. Tom Brady may never retire.

The arguable greatest quarterback of all-time said a few years ago that he would play until he’s 45-years-old and it looks like he wasn’t kidding.

Like all of his NFL extensions, it saves his team money in the now in order to allow management to build around him. The new contract will save the Bucs $19 million against the cap this upcoming year.

The move may be critical in allowing the Bucs to keep as many pieces together as possible, as they are in hopes of another Super Bowl run and Lombardi Trophy next season.
