Toledo Walleye read the memo: must win at home!

Do you know where 7,482 fans, representing opposing teams, gathered tonight, 5/3/19?  No other place than at the Huntington Center to watch game 4 of the 7 game ECHL Central division championship series.

Toledo Walleye versus the Cincinnati Cyclones met to deliver riveting hockey.  The first period showed equal winning potential between the two contenders.  With an equal score of zero and combined total of 22 SOG the period ended.

Then the second period,  introduced the first goal of the evening, which was by Cincinnati’s # 12 Tobie Bisson.  Cincinnati would go on to score one more goal but Toledo would one up them, to make it an end score of 3-2.  Therefore, leading the 7 game series 3-1.  Toledo arrived at the winning score with 37 SOG leaving the Cyclones with 27 of the same opportunities.  The three goals were delivered by #11 Trevor Hamilton with 2 and the entertaining #16 Bryan Moore with 1.

The excitement ending the third period rose us to our feet while counting down the last 5 seconds as a choir of fans. Toledo’s goalie #30 Pat Nagle is in my featured photo.  He not only catches pucks, but catches our breaths with his saves.  The two teams will meet again tomorrow night in Cincinnati, hoping to rest up, I am sure for back to back games.
