We kick off our Big Ten predictions with the reigning conference champs and the national runner up in the Ohio State Buckeyes. Despite starting the season late, the Buckeyes went undefeated in the regular season, annihilated Clemson in the College Football Playoff, but lost by 28 to Alabama in the National Championship. The major question heading into this season is, who replaces Justin Fields at QB? CJ Stroud seems to be the favorite but Jack Miller III will challenge as well. Whoever it is will have plenty of help with the best WR duo in the nation in Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. The defense returns four starters but will need to improve in the secondary after having the worst passing defense in the Big Ten last year. If they do that and find a capable QB, Ohio State will once again find themselves in the Big Ten Championship with another shot at a College Football Playoff berth.
