The BC Lions Football Club is pleased to invite fans to the team’s 2019 FanFest presented by BCLC this Saturday, June 1 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, site of the team’s 2019 Training Camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort.
Again this year, fans are asked to bring a nonperishable food item or make cash donation in support of the Kamloops Food Bank. As part of the Purolator Tackle Hunger Program, all fans making a donation on Saturday night will be eligible to win an autographed Mike Reilly jersey or four club seat tickets to the Lions’ home opener on June 15 versus Winnipeg, including sideline passes to watch pre-game warm-ups.
As in past years, FanFest will feature a number of great family-friendly attractions including performances by the Felions Dance Team, in-practice player interviews and the always-fun Kids Zone with inflatable games, face painting, a magician and much more.
Following the Play With the Pros football clinic from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, Lions fans will get a sneak preview of the team during an on-field practice session running from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and get to meet their gridiron heroes with an autograph session that goes from 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
Fans are encouraged to return to the stands after the autograph session wraps up and enjoy the fireworks show presented by BCLC.
Fanfest is also the perfect opportunity to gear up for the 2019 season as a wide selection of New Era merchandise will be available for purchase as well as the ever-popular official Training Camp t-shirt for just $20.00.
