My friends and I are members of the Golf Estate Goodnews Club, and we run an exciting word-based club for children who want to stand out for Christ.
Right now, we are on holiday, but club activities resume on Saturday the 8th of May.
Yes! We’re back to physical meetings.
On this note, we call on every child out there to fast with us on the 1st of May.
The purpose of this fast is to pray for an infilling of the Holy Spirit who will enable us to live according to the ways and principles of Jesus, even in this new world we find ourselves.
We’re constantly being exposed to the word of God. At home, in church and the Good News Club but friends, knowledge alone does not translate to action. We all need the help of the Holy Spirit.
So, come on friends fast with us.
Fasting duration ranges from 6 am to 12 pm, or 6 am to 2 pm, or 6 am to 4 pm. The choice is yours!
Remember to abstain from all sorts of entertainment. This means no watching television, playing games, engaging in sports, and any other activity that takes your mind out of the fast. It’s going to be just you and God.
